After the roller coaster have experienced after the OTC and FDIC shut their doors last week and took over. Just as they stated in a statement made last Friday, they opened the doors of the bank on the following Monday to reduce the panic against the bank.

We would of had a review last week but when they shut down the bank they also closed the website, that is not the case now. They have a standard search but many listings with about 85% of having pictures. They also have an email alert feature so you can have alerts send to you when properties arrive in their REO department that meet your real estate criteria.

GRP is a Sallie Mae company according to the website. The have a beautiful visual map of the united states for searching their REOs. The map actually populated the map with the number of REO properties available for each state. At the time of this writing, GRP has listings in almost all 50 states except two. There was a problem with it connecting to the database to show us the listings. They do have a email listed so I would just contact them directly and have them send you an excel spreadsheet.

Wells Fargo has taken a slightly different approach than other banks. First, they have setup a mini-website that goes by Premiere Asset Services for their REO listings. Next, they have a partnership with Foreclosure.com to get access to Wells Fargo’s listings so they can display them on their website.

Wells Fargo’s property search is very robust with a nice search criteria for finding real estate that are going to auction. PAS also has email alerts, you can set the criteria for the property you are looking for in the geographic area and when a piece of real estate comes up that meets your property search requirements it will email you with a alert that has a link to the listing.

Bank REO Info:

“Move-in” condition. Handyman special. Luxury homes. Premiere Asset Services offers a wide selection of REO homes, representing assets of several financial institutions that contracted with Premiere Asset Services to manage and market their properties.

To search our database of properties, simply select your criteria in the boxes below, then click ‘Search’.

To obtain additional information on a property, please contact the listing agent; their name and contact information is listed on the property detail page. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, simply register for Email Property Alert.

Chase REO Property Database

Chase has a REO search on their website is not as visual as others we have reviewed. Where it lacks in pretty graphics it makes up in robust search features. I would recommend doing “new searchers” when you want to change states. I changed from California to Florida and it told me Chase had no REO listings. I think we all know they do, I clicked on the “new search” and inputted my state abbreviation and Poof! alot more listings in Florida.

Another nice feature is the additional information they give you about the broker that is handling the listing. They give you broker name, brokerage name, brokerage address , email and of course phone number. I find many other sites will give you broker name and either email or phone and thats it.

Bank REO Info:

We occasionally need to foreclose on a small number of properties around the country. As a result, we may have Chase-owned properties for sale from time to time to prospective homebuyers.
